My first post and my first problem...
As you can see from the topic, some time ago on the Psint site there was available a beta version of their eProfiles software which promised that I will be able to change the alarm sound of my 7650. Also there was a beta version of World Clock Pro. Same promise. Well, already annoyed by the stupid sound that Nokia incorporated for alarms I eagerly downloaded the files (W.C.P first) and installed the app. I changed the alarm setting and chose appropriate music for it. But nothing happened, alarm was sounding as before... than after unsuccesfull trying (you can now consider it as banging my head in the wall) I uninstalled the W.C.P. and installed eProfiles (also beta) and then a strange thing happened... I changed the alarm sound setting, but I didn't set the alarm and voila! the other morning the alarm was sounded with the new music (it was set on 6:50 before)!!! 😮 But this is not the whole story yet... Then I changed the alarm time to 7:15 and the other morning another strange thing happened,
at 6:50 the alarm again sounded but with the old annoying Nokia default tone, and at 7:15 the new alarm sounded with the selected tone. Well, I wanted to get rid of the 6:50 alarm somehow because it wakes me up every morning too early now but even after uninstalling eProfiles app this bloody alarm is still there (you cannot see it in the clock app, there the alarm is not set, but still at 6:50 my 7650 keeps beeping). I uninstalled from the manager app all relevant stuff (like Alarm enhancer, psint helper, I mean all the apps that are installed together with the eProfiles) and now my 7650 has no Psint stuff on it but still at 6:50 I wake up because the alarm is undestroyable... :evil:
I presume that this alarm exists from the first time that I installed the World Clock Pro but I was not able to find anything with efilemanager in the system that would relate to this... Any help???!!!! Please, I cronically miss these half an hour in the morning, please help!!! Not even the turning off the phone helps because the alarm just pops up at the particular time due to the 7650 ability for alarms even when turned-off...
Also, the 7650 does not support factory reset by default... Any app that can do this? Maybe this would solve my problem... I need something that will incinerate whatever I installed additionally on my 7650 but leave intact all other system settings :evil:
