Has anyone tried Navicore and is it any good as an alternative to TOM TOM 5?
I want something for Xmas! Also does it have full 7 dig postcode search?
The navicore website says it works with the N70.

Navicore as an alternative to TOM TOM
As Navicore is written specifically for Symbian smartphones, it should be better than TomTom Mobile.
Navicore does not support seven digit postcode searches out-of-the-box although it is possible to download a database of postcodes and configure the software to use it.

Apparently there is a new version of Navicore being released in early 2006 that does have full postcode searching but that is no use if you want it for Christmas.
If you are considering TomTom Mobile, you should be aware that many users (myself included) are experiencing problems with running TomTom on the N70 and there are numerous messages on this forum discussing this issue.
Another alternative depending on what sort of coverage you are looking for is Route 66. I haven't used it myself but there is a review of the software at the pocketgps website here http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/route66-mobile-britain.php
