there is an option named "encoding" with different settings to choose from, same for "host" and "port". What do these need to be set at for it to work? I currently have Agile msgr but could never get msn msgr to work with it.
Need settings for IM+ to work on Tmobile
Make sure that you have T-Mobile's [GPRS] Internet Access Point settings on your phone, and that you have configured Agile to use the Internet settings (not a WAP Access Point, for example).
Check also with T-Mobile that your plan/subscription/contract allows you to use the Internet Access Point (some suitable "data plan" or something; different operators call them different things, charge differently for them, and vary in whether it is automatically allowed or if you need to separately enable it).
I have agile msgr and it works for aim and yahoo just fine, just not msn. I now installed IM+ on the phone but it won't work for anything and there is those categories requiring settings for it, but I don't know if the settings are correct for tmobile. Does anyone know how to configure IM+ so it works with tmobile?
What this section is for. I will keep my question posts to the phone it is related to. But perhaps this section can be renamed to something like "series 60 software announcements" or something that would convey its intention. Since the ones named 6600 or any other phone model are not intended as only posts for new stuff, but can be for questions and help also. Anyways sorry.
