Printing via a PC

Hi,

is there a solution for printing via a PC that is either available or underdevelopment?

Not all of us have the luxury of an infrared printer and I am look for alternatives.

Hmmmmm, I remember my Series5 days User posted image Print via PC was such a dog's dangly utility, I wish they'd included it with the old 9210.

I've wandered round Uni in the hope to find a printer with an infra-red port, and have now decided that they must just be fiction, and don't really exist. A campus the size of a town and not one bloody IR Printer, it's discrimination I tell ya! User posted image

You need to get yourself a HP laserjet 5p, there's one on Ebay (just a quick search - there may be more).

I have one at home - very handy with 9210

I used to have a parallel cable for my Psion and that worked Ok.

Can you get infrared parallel adapters (I've seen serial ones)?

HP 990CXI inkjet has an IR port, great for graphics, text and looks super cool on you desk User posted image

I bought the HP deskjet 350 CBI from PC World for �190. I havent got the right driver for it yet but I muddle through with the ones on my phone, general or whatever. Its fast, colour and portable too. Works with my Psion 5, Libretto and 9110 as well (but you didnt need to know that). They are all reduntant now cos of my lovely 9210 User posted image

I am very happy for those that have an IR printer and they work...BUT...is there a solution for those that DONT have an IR printer?

An option to "Print To File" would be nice. At least that way, I could print, transfer the image and copy to the printer....
