Hi
I would very much appreciate some advice. I just bought a 6680 today and the main thing I want to do is to install Tom Tom. I am very untechnically minded and I need to know what else I need, other than the Tom Tom card to run the application on my phone?
Once I have the card plus whatever else I need, it it easy to actually install and get it up and running for someone with absolutely no technical knowledge?
Any advice about the best places to purchase the card and anything else I will need?
Many thanks for your help and advice.
Cal
If you buy tomtom pre installed on a memory card it's just a case of plugging in the memory card restarting the phone and hey presto tom tom is in the menu.
There are CD's that have TOMTOM on them, if you buy one of these you need to copy folders from the CD onto a memory card (at least 128mb), and then insert as above, there are nine folders that you have to copy across.
I run TomTom on a 6680 and it is great accuracy down to house numbers.
Hi Cal1
I've got TT Mobile 5 on my 6630 as bonzadog said it comes on it's own 128 card and I have a 256 card already installed in my phone and I wanted to add TT M5 onto this card. First I removed the 256 card and inserted the 128 TT card into the phone, I then did a backup using Nokia PC Suite 6 version 18 from my phone to my PC once this was complete I then removed the TT card and reinserted the 256 card and then transfered the info from the backup folder on the PC to my phone and TT is now on my 256 card.
Another useful thing is, is to add the safety cameras to your TT folder too but get it uploaded onto your card first.

I have put tomtom mobile 5 on my Nokia 6680, and have bought a BT-77 GPS receiver (50). However, when I pair the two, and my Nokia says pairing is completre - code put in and everything - it then just flashes to indicate that no pairing is actually in action.
So when i click on the tomtom icon in my list, it wants me to log-in using emaiul and password - but it won't 'connect to service'.
has anyone has similar problems?
Any ideas?
