N70 not pairing with Bluetooth

5 replies · 3,655 views · Started 30 November 2005

Hi,

I am having trouble pairing my N70 to Sony Ericsson HCB-30 Bluetooth Car Kit.

Previously, my 6600 paired without any problems, now the N70 says "pairing complete" but it is unable to make a Bluetooth connection.

I know the car kits are working, as I have tested several other phones (Nokia's) and they all work, and I know the N70 is working as I have connected to other phone - just not with the car kits.

Any thought or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tony

Try turning the BT on and off on the phone, then try to pair it with your car kit. This sometimes works with me if i'm having trouble pairing or connecting the phone to a device.

I've got the Nokia BT car kit and have no problems connecting or pairing to it, i also use my mrs's universal BT kit and the N70 works fine with it too.

I have the same problem I have a bluetooth radio in my car(pioneer) and it pairs but wont do anything and disconnects after 10 mins nightmare , my old 6680 is fine with it im on orange.

Hi all, has anyone has any problems on transfering files eg,music or pictures files to another phone from n70.Just recieve the nokia n70 and have a number of times tested it on bluetooth transfers. They connect ok(paired). But as I click sent the connection bar come up but no transfer is done after 10 seconds the message say 'connection fail'.Both phones are only placed next to each other. If its a software problem then I could send the n70 back.any thoughts on this. Thanks

:icon14: Sorted..A quick call to 3 network center was aided by a helpful chap, whom talk me through the bluetooth faults, this problem being the memory card which needs enough space for bluetooth to upload and download files. Also my email settings is now sorted😊 Thanks 3 network call center .333
