hi
apparently according to some bloke called simon robinson on the Nokia support forum you can upgrade to the latest firmware at any Nokia Service Centre.. I confirmed this with some very helpful chap from Nokia on the phone today.
V2.0539.1.2
19-10-05
RM-84
this cleared his problems that he [Simon Robinson] was having. I cannot confirm if these are the same problems that you are having... I'm hearing alot of reports that the radio is pants in the N70 period.
Be warned.. upgrading to the latest firmware at a NSC WILL clear your Orange Homescreen so if you like the bar thing down the side of your phone then i'd opt for Orange support and get a replacement.
I'm hearing on the grapevine that the Orange homescreen is to blame for a few problems as well as slowing the OS down. I for one will be getting my N70 flashed as soon as I can get my merry butt down to my local NSC.
