I must be being really thick here!
I recently did a soft reset on my 6630 to clear a memory card problem and now I can't use any MP3s on my MMC in the list of available ringtones.
They work fine if in C: memory, but I must have altered some setting that prohibits the phone seeing them from the ringtone menu.
Any clues?
Thanks,
Chris
Shouldn't be any settings like that. Try putting them in the \Sounds\Digital directory (or folder, if you prefer) on the memory card (the E-drive) and see if it helps making them visible as ringtones.
As you say they work from phone memory (the C-drive), I presume it is not a case of a Vodafone branded 6630 where MP3s as ringtones has been disabled entirely.
Yep that was it! I was being thick 😊
I'd put all my albums in the root instead of in Sounds/Digital..
Thanks for the memory jogger!!
No I'm on O2, no restrictions here!
Cheers,
Chris
