Export/copying of contact pictures

My problem is this:

On my 9500 I have some contacts with pictures, but I have gotten new contact-sheets for the same people - with updated information, but no pictures.

The obvious solution would be to simply copy the pictures to the updated contact-sheets.... except I cant. The 9500 does not seem to support copy/paste of the pictures in contacts.

My question:

Is there any way to copy or export the old contact pictures from the contacts database, so I might add them to my new contact-sheets? 😕

how have u sync'd your phone? have u sync'd it to MS outlook? Mine is sync'd to MS Outlook.
If i add numbers or change it on outlook, when i sync next those numbers are added / changed on my phone as well....basiaclly updfated & the picturte does not go away.

So basically if you add a number on your phone or outlook & sync it..the contact will merge the changes & keep them as "one" on both machines.
This will keep the photos intact as well..

So simple sync it..
P.S. - check the sync settings once before you start the sync.

(i have MS Office 2003 installed)

Thank you for the suggestion Hyper 😊

Unfortunately this doesnt work for me. While I do sync with MS Outlook, I get most of my new contacts sent in the form of electronic business cards via SMS. When using "add to contacts" the phone consistently creates a new contact sheet for the person in question rather than merging it with the existing one.

This is actually quite ok since the phone has no way of telling whether it is an update to an existing person or simply a new guy with a similar name.

If only Nokia had made it possible to cut/paste pictures - then there would be no problem.... :frown:
