I have some nice java games for the 6600 and plays prefectly. When I switched to a newer handphone the 6680, some of the games seems unplayable. But I thought the 6680 has the same java platform J2ME and the 6680 even have a faster processor. Is this normal?
Java on 6600 and 6680
It depends. What do you mean with "seems unplayable", exactly? Did you reinstall them on the new phone, or how did you try them on the 6680?
In any case, most Java apps that work on a 6600 should run fine on a 6680.

Same problem here on a 6630. Movement is choppy for every java game, even after a phone hard reset with no other software installed.
it is playable but as my above poster mentioned, choppy and lagging. It is not as smooth as the 6600. Funny although the same platform and faster processor
I've download a java game. Run, and it hang on the loading screen.. next i compress all the phone memory, the same. Finally, I restart the phone..now the game is playable.. I reinstall another java game.. Choppy eventhough i restart the phone.. Damn annoying
Ok, i have get to the root of the problem.. Its the sound.. It seems that whenever I on the sound for most java games It seems to lag or cannot play at all.. Anyone has a solution for this? When I off the music the game plays smoothly
