I'm going insane trying to find a download of firefox for my Ngage, I've googled thousands of forums and still only come up with teh opera install, i want FX, someone please help me.

thanks

There is no version of Firefox for the N-Gage. Nobody has ported Firefox for the N-Gage (I should say the phone too limited in ways of available memory and processor performance to run Firefox, which has been created for PC's with "unlimited" memory, "unlimited" storage, "unlimited" power, "unlimited" performance).

The available web browsers for S60 phones (I don't know if the latest versions run on the N-Gage, or if you have to settle with an older one) would be Opera, NetFront (by Access), WebViewer (by ReqWireless) and Doris (by Anygraaf).

that sucks, i thouhg iu read that someone had, oh well, so whats better opera or one of the others, i played with opera earlier but it was a 30 day download. it better be worht the money if I have to buy it, thats why i wanted firefox, its FREE

thanks man

Try all of them (or at least Opera and NetFront), before you decide which one you like best.

Well IMHO all the S60 browsers suck but the Opera Browser sucks least.
There is no firefox. Theres a project at Nokia to use the same open source components Apple use for Safari but it wont ever work on an N-Gage

Im afraid you will never see Firefox for NGage. Furthermore, both Opera and Netfront runs very badly on the NGage, due to the low memory on the phone.

What you should try, however, is Opera Mini! This is a free, Java version of Opera that runs very well on the Ngage, due to servers the pre-process the data before sending it to your phone. Read more about it here:

You can download it with the WAP reader on you phone through this link:

This really is an awesome applications, and it is free.
