Go to phone settings and there to welcome note or logo
you can set a picture there. or text.

I think that it cant be animated, havent tested it myself though.
And the size should be 174x208.

cool it works, but u cant get animated images, shame would of looked cool

Thats cool, I thought it would, but hadnt had time to try it out.

I have tried it and i was only able to convert the ryu image in to single frame grey scale or binary mbm,so have a blast,if anyone can get it working let us know.

I haven't tried this, but this may be what you need to do;

Convert your image to a multi frame MBM and then, instead of using the UI to select your startup image, save it as C:\System\Data\Backgroundimage.mbm - that way, the system won't try messing with it in any way (which it does try and do when you go through the UI).

Is this thread in some kind of a worm/worp/time hole,its really strange.

I tried doing this with xnview but i havent suceeded so far,i cant even save it in colour,just gray scale and binary,and i havent seen an option about multiframe mbms.Since i got this app just yesterday i might be doing something wrong.Anyone else?
