Sometimes your phone might not ring or vibrate when a call is received. There are a few reasons why this might occur:

My Phone was better before installing the patch. after Installing the patch it does not load and play the ringtone that i have set...but plays the default Nokia tone. :icon13:
ashwathashu; you are totally right!!!! I do not know how can I keep my phone off doing this!!! I uninstalled the path file and still sometimes keeps playing the nokia tune and I want the phone to play the ringtone I selected to play not the nokia tune. If someone here could let me know how to avoid this I would be very appreciated... :con?
Hey i had the same problem with my n70 but mine just didnt do anything but when i got a text it rang and vibrated and i then noticed my 7 missed calls!! I took it to my local vodafone store which is where i purchased the phone and they sent it away for a software update. Only took a few days and it now works fine. I suggest you do the same.

You could still try taking back to where you bought it so they can update it. If you bought it recently, i think it is up till a month ago, they will give you a brand new phone instead of sending yours away as long as it is in good condition. If it still dosnt work, then... pester Nokia direct!!
