simple function

Uptil now i have a problem which i dont know if Nokia dont feature this simple function or I dont know how to use it.

I would like to know if given any phone numbers, how do i check if that number is in my contact list? It may be silly to open up every contacts just to view the number or call that number until the thumbnail or the name displayed on the screen then quickly hang up the phone.

man jus dail that number and the name can be displayed on the screen na that's it its as simple as it is.
