Emoticons for 6630

Eh? A SMS message is, by definition, just plain text. You can't force other peoples' handsets to display anything other than letters, numbers and punctuation!

Or have I misunderstood your question?

unfortunatly this isnt' possible, not in a text message as they are just text, but also not even in an MMS as all images which are insterted are not inline but rather seperate attachments ala e-mail. it's a shame really as it's something which features heavily on Japanese handsets/networks but not over here, it's something which probably wouldnt' require network integration but rather something on the handset just converting : ) to 😊 on the fly but as far as i am aware (and i looked a while back) there is nothing available and even if there was it would probably mean bypassing nokia's messaging application.

we'll have to ask nokia to do that in next versions...
Sony-Ericsson phones have this feature.. when theres : and ) next to each other in message, another SE handset will recognize it as smile and will display as picture.
similar stuff have samsung phones.

Some Nokia Series 40 phones do that, too, but not any S60 phones.
