I have the same screen asking about the security certificate. However, once I click ok, it continue downloading my mails. Have you updated your ProfiMail to 2.36?

By the way, how did you managed to have your background sretch full length (including both sides)?

Haven't you noticed the huge 'skinning' thread on top of this page? 😮

yes i have Profimail 2.36 version. My profimail check's my emails every 30mins, so if i have to open my phone every half an hour to press "YES"... it defeats the whole purpose of it being AUTOMATIC............ right?

I didn't know you've set it on auto check. You're right. it sure doesn't make sense. You tried asking GOOGLE? Talking about auto check, my ProfiMail crashes if I set to auto check every 15 min. It hangs at the stage "Initialise.." after 4 or 5 downloads (Not using my GMAIL account). I'll have to quit other apps & do a Reboot. You have such problem?:frown:

if there is a problem while getting your email thru profimail. try keeping the autocheck to about 30mins. sometime i get connection error if i keep the auto check to 15mins... must be some GPRS problem.
now at 30mins..it works perfectly & never hangs at all.. this is the best software for me....until this wierd error has turned up?? already tried to google a solution for this problem..am still at it.

i have 6 email account confuigured in profimail & it works like a charm..no other problems except that if there is an error, the error should time out itself..otherwise i have to physically open the phone & press "OK" for the error to go away & to make profimail in normal state again...

Sounds like you've got a perfect installation and/or configuration. Have you ever encounter losing all your emails for 1 or all email accounts?

nope i've never lost any emails. profimail simple leave all the email on the server & when u delete any email's , it deletes it from the server as well.

Now if you access all your emails from somewhere else eg. your outlook express where you have not configured it to leave the messages on the server, then obviously the next time you retrieve it from profimail..there will be nothing to retrieve from & the ones on your phone will be "SYNC'd" with your server & removed as there are none on the server.

Anyways..we are now moving away from the topic...please try & get some solution for the Gmail Security Thingy....

Hey, come to think of it, I think there is a solution. If you're able to import GMAIL's certificate into 9500's Certificate Manager, then you'll no longer need to keep pressing OK. I could see the details of GMAIL's certicate but I am trying to import that into the CM. Let's see...😎
