video calls between n70 & pc

hi all,

anybody knows whether its possible to have video calls between n70 and a pc? if so, wat are the requirement for the pc?

The requirements for the PC is a WCDMA/3G modem (can't be done through just any broadband or other Internet connection) and software support for SIP, etc., needed for WCDMA video calls. It is intimately tied to WCDMA/3G network operator provided functionality.

N/A, does your answer reply indirectly to my question in my thread about using the forward looking cam as webcam in progs like turbomsn or agilemessenger...?

No, because that's different, and not dependent on 3G video call handling. For an IM app it could be implemented (as it won't be based on telephony features for the cellular network, but purely application level stuff over TCP/IP connectivity).

ok, thks guys! wonder when will the techology be ready to have video calls between tcp/ip and wdma network.. 🙄

When operators deploy IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and the right applications on top of IMS are available, then it will be possible.

I may be mistaken, but that doesn't look like something for making 3G video calls between a 3G phone and a PC, which is what this thread is about.
