Hi,
I have recently bought a Nokia 9300 and have a few questions that all you smart people out there may be able to answer:
1. Why won't my Real Player play Real Player video clips? I get audio but no picture.
2. Is there freeware available that will let me play Windows Media Player video files?
3. Are there any decent freeware games available? Bounce and Golf are all very well but they ain't that difficult. Shoot 'em ups and mental puzzles are what I need!
4. Can the MP3 player be set to select random tracks rather than sorting the data?
5. Can the Nokia camera enhancement be used? It is not listed as a compatible device on the Nokia website but this is never a certainty. Is there a patch or software download to make it compatible?
Grateful for any advice and assistance that you kind folks can provide.
Cheers

Hi, welcome to the forum.
1. Perhaps you don't have the right resolution for your clips? I'd strongly suggest you get a 3rd party video player though, as Real Player sucks.
2. No.
3. There are several excellent freeware emulators avaiable. My favourite being Picodrive (Sega Megadrive/Genesis emulator). We also have a great Doom port. Please search the forum for more info.
4. Menu --> Playback --> Random.
5. No.
Raven,
Thanks for the advice. Can you recommend a freeware 3rd party video player?

There are no freeware 3rd party video players, only commercial.
As far as games goes - if you are into RPG's you should check out Legacy.
It is not freeware, but shareware. You can however play it quite a bit before you get to a point where registration is needed in order to proceed. And at that point you might be so addicted, that you dont mind paying... 😉
