Wow, this web site is so slow I can barely stand it.
I tried to attach the OggPlay zip file I have, I think I got it off the OggPlay website, but this site is so slow when I hit "Manage Attachments" it either times out or I get a vbScript error on the button.
Pm me if you want it.
And are you sure you have never loaded a xxxPDA release of software? If you have, OggPlay and SmartProfiles will never work until you reformat your phone or clean up the "extra" files xxxPDA releases place on your hard drives of the phone.

No, I don't mean cracked versions of OggPlay because it's free.
Have you installed any cracked app? If you have, OggPlay as well as other s60 apps will fail on n70.
i know there aint any cracked versions i meant thats the only site that i have got off play from. all my other apps work apart from fscaller which kills 'go to' but other than that they are all fine

Here is the OggPlay file that I installed on my n70. It works great on mine, use at your own risk though.
I've been testing this beta version 1.66 on my n70 and it is working very well.
Updated file to beta version 1.66, which is working well on my n70. This is also suppose to work on n90.
thanx EinZtein only problem i have now is that my .ogg files are the same or bigger than my mp3s!

If you check the OggPlay forums there's at least one happy N90 user 😊
The only issue with the N90 is that OggPlay doesn't support double resolution skins, yet. That's coming in 1.67...

Here are the settings I use in "Goldwave" to do batch conversions to ogg, small files that sound real good on my n70. I tried other settings but these seem to work with all music files without erroring out.
Convert to Ogg format:
Vorbis/Ogg 1.0.1 codec 32000Hz, 24kbps (-0.1q), mono
I added the filter to "Remove Hiss", "Reduce Hum" and increase volume to 150%.
Files are crystal clear and are under a 1 meg each.

IN the Oggplayer website there is no reference (at least I have not found it) to any 1.66 version. Last stable version mentioned is 1.6.5.
Where have you downloaded it?
