my very good friend just bought a Nokia 6680 smartphone but when ever he inserts his GSM sim card and powers on it replies ''INVALID SIMCARD''.Could someone tell me what the possible problem is?
my 6680 also does not display my Gallary files though they are there.to access these files i have to use the File manager before i could see the files.what could i do to rectify this problem?
my 6680 also tells me ''SYSTEM ERROR'' when i try to use the camera.
i need help since there is no nokia costoner care in my part of the world.
Is it a new phone or a used one? Is it locked to a specific operator, perhaps?
Does the SIM card work OK in another phone? Does some other SIM card work in that phone?

i formated the phone memory yet it still says invalid sim card can any one help.
my friend said the fon had been used some where in europe but does not know exactly where.

Sounds very much like a SIM-locked phone that will only accept SIM cards from the original operators it was bought from (unless you get the unlock code from that very same operator).

Your friend phone is locked to particular network so that it shows "Invalid Simcard".He has to unlock it.Then only he can be able to use it with his sim card.For unlocking,you can get unlock code at reasonable cost for Nokia 6680 mobile phone from Mobileunlocksolutions.com .
If you have the problems like Gallery files or file manager not displaying,you can better reset the phone.
