I use the internal Notes application on the series 60 nokia's quite a lot - for jotting down things from movies I wanna see to things I wanna buy for my gf. One thing I've noticed is that once you open a note which you've saved previously and make changes to it (for example deleting some stuff in it), there's no option to revert to the original note... It automatically saves the note if you press the red button. Even if you hold down the menu button and press 'C' on the notes application, it saves the changes you've made.
Well, I was having a play around with my N70 today (I must say it's a great phone - had it for 3wks and can't put it down!!), and figured out a way to close the edited note without saving it. Don't know if it works on every N70 cos i don't personally know anyone who owns one apart from myself.
This is what I did:
1. I opened a saved note
2. I deleted a few words from it
3. I pressed the 'down' key till i was at the very end of the note
4. (While in dictionary/predictive txt mode) I pressed '0' three times as if to go to the next line
5. I immediately pressed the 'right' key
6. The notes application shut down by itself and when i went back to the note, it hadn't saved the changes!!!
Don't know if this is something that only works on my N70 or if it's a general thing. Lemme know if anyone tries it and if it works on their N70 or not.
Oh yeah, sum1 lemme know if there's an easier/different way to do this (Just in case there's an option in the menu which i was too blind to see 😊 )
