It's been a while since I've been here, I opted for a K700i after my P800 died so I've been away from AllAboutSymbian for a while, but I'm back!
Got my N70 today, on 3, good deal, they haven't messed up the phone too much either, have a couple of questions though.
Firstly, read about the new firmware, spoke to 3, they have no clue, if I take my phone to a Nokia Service Center and get a non-3 update will it prevent me from using 3 services or cause 3 to hate me in anyway?
Secondly, what spec do you need to encode MP4 files at to make them work on the N70, i've downloaded a few off the web, ones for encoded for the PSP and ones for Sony Ericsson phones but both produce a "Cannot play clip" message when I try to view them on the phone, the wierd thing is previews for the videos come up on the gallery screen as normal and they work fine on the PC.
Thirdly I can't seem to play music videos I pay for from 3 when I transfer them to my PC, it just hangs Real Player, any ideas?
Fourthly, I have never had a bluetooth headset before so I have nothing benchmark it against, but the sound quality through it is awful, quite crackly and distant, is that just what BT headsets are like or could it be the N70 or my particular headset?
Lastly, will the N70 work with the new 1GB RS-DV-MMC cards?

STOP PRESS! How on earth do you enable the Active Standby mode? In the manual it says go to Tools>Settings>Phone>Standby Mode>Active Standby but on my Standby Mode menu there is no option to enable Active Standby!
