i recently bought a nokia n70 on orange and have noticed there are full length movies available on 124kb memory cards. when i looked at downloading a movie the file size was 700kb. does anyone know where i can get the compression software i need to be able to put this file onto a small memory card that my phone willbe able to understand?
thanks everyone and happy new year

I think your mistaken with your measurements. Its not going to be kb, but most likely Mb.

So, in that your looking at a LARGE memory card.

Depending on the video/audio quality one is willing to sacrifice, you can fit a movie in a few tens of MB, but not 700KB.

Anyway, search for "SmartMovie" (by Lonely Cat Games), "DVDplayer" (by Viking Informatics) and "DVD to Mobile" (by Makayama Software). You should be able to buy them in the shop: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/shop/

You can also use Real Producer or Helix Producer to create Real Video or 3GP format videos, which the phone can play without any additional players.
