Hi,
when I want to start on a software for SonyEricsson P990, should I use the 3.0 SDK (from uiq.com) or stick with a 2.1 SDK?
I was familiar with development for P800/P900 but haven't done UIQ for a while. Thanks for some experience.

If you want to target the P990, then only the UIQ 3.0 SDK and apps created with it (& related compilers; either GCC-E in the SDK, or RVCT which is sold separately by ARM) will work on it (when the device is eventually released).
Thanks. Do you expect another SDK to be released, maybe a device specific from SE with more classes... or will UIQ 3.0 SDK the one that is gonna be used?
In the past for the P800, P900 and P910 Sony Ericsson has relied only on "generic" UIQ SDKs. It could happen, but I haven't seen any indications/reasons why that would change with the P990.
