As many others, I�ve had problems getting Nokia Data Suite to find my phone. But I think I�ve discovered where the problem is. The Data Suite uses around 5-6 apps which wants to get access to your computer. My Nokia Data Suite seemed to have problems with Zone Alarm. All you who have had problems, are you also using Zone Alarm?

Uninstall the Data suite. Remove all entries in Zone Alarm (if there are any) which has to do with the Data Suite. Install the Data Suite again (without installing SDK). When you run the application, Zone Alarm will ask about giving 5-6 programs access and you answer yes and also check the box "always access" or something like that. After that it worked out really well for me. I downloaded the PC suite from http://www.nokia.com/cda1/0,1080,2008,00.html instead of using my PC Suite from the cd which was included in the box. I don�t know if it has something to do with this.
