Why dont you try to find the PC suite lastest version at Nokia web site? maybe this could work; also check the cable and your PC operating sistem. If its XP you shoudnt have problems 😊
i tried to download it from there as weLL...
im using the xp sp2 the cables n all the connections are ok..
its jz that i cant use the pc suite.. when i try to browse my phone it always says operation could not be completed
The fact is PC Suite is just plain rubbish, even when it is working it is flaky at best. I can't make full backups using my PC suite, it just gets stuck half way through or reboots my phone. Also I can't transfer large files to my phone using it without it hanging at the end of the transfer.
PC suite needs a major re-write, it looks old and functions badly. It also needs to incorporate internet passthrough to solve all our connection woes.

As a user of two Symbian phones (one Nokia one SE) over the last year I can honestly say that IMO all "synchronisation solutions/PC Suites/connection software" available on Symbian phones just plain SUCK compared to MS ActiveSync. ActiveSync used to suck big time as well but over the years it got better and better and now you can reliably synchronise the same device with two different PCs without duplicates or other headaches and in a fraction of the time required on Symbian phones.
As much as I dislike Microsoft I must admit to myself that without a PocketPC at the moment it would be impossible for me to manage contacts on a PC at work, a PC at home and a phone. These days I use a PocketPC only to synchronise!!! I am dreaming of the day I can get rid of it but time passes and I don't see when that is going to happen.
Try to synch the same Symbian phone with two PCs and you will know what I mean.

You might want to try using http://www.plaxo.com/ this is what I use to keep all my contacts synchronised. I just sync Outlook from Plaxo and then sync my Nokia with Outlook. Plaxo can be used to sync all your PCs, home and work and then just sync the Nokia on one of the PCs.
As a previous user of a Windows mobile device I wholeheartedly agree, MS are way ahead of Nokia in the software. If the Nokia hardware was not so nice then I would almost certainly be back on MS. The thing I like about Nokia is the sound quality and image quality -- everything else pretty much sucks. I can't beleive that you have to take it to a service center to get a new firmware. More frustrating is you can't plug standard headphones in, what is all this pop-port about, why not a mini USB and 3.5mm head phone jack, standard?
hello, i have a solution for you but it is in french
