I have a copy of this software which I have loaded onto a 512 RSMMC card, however there does not seem to be anyway to load it onto the phone. Most sites suggest is will start automatically but it does not. There is no relevant SIS file or anything.
Can ayone help?
Tom Tom Mobile 5 problem
Ask TomTom support (they should know their own product): http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?Language=1

I am not sure TomTom support will be too helpful if it is copied software as the post seems to state.
To be honest TomTom support have been about as much use as a chocolate teapot over an issue with genuine software!
Well, this site's policy is pretty clear on stolen software:

The software is not stolen, I have copied it from the official Tom Tom card onto my own 1gb to save carrying 2 cards about and that is when the problem occured. That said I think I have fixed it, it was as simple as all the Tom Tom files need to be in the root directory, not in a sub directory as I had them.
cheers for the help anyway.

When you copy the original TT card, (presumably via your PC?) make sure you set Windows Explorer options first as follows:-
1. TOOLS -> FOLDER OPTIONS
2. TICK the to "Show Hidden files and folders" checkbox
3. UNTICK the "Hide protected Operating System Files" checkbox.
4. Click OK.
You should then be able to copy the entire original TT MMC card onto the replacement card. I suspect you did not copy the hidden "SYSTEM" folder because Windows Explorer did not display it.
P.S. the above procedure worked ok for me in August 2005
