Wont boot after battery flattened

Hi

The other nite I left my X downstairs overnight and came down to find it completely dead. I know the battery was low and Im assuming it just flatted out. Now it just wont fire up at all. Tried recharging and it initially came up with a bright white screen but when I checked it a little later it was dead and has remained so ever since despite being plugged in to the charger for over 24 hours 😡

Ive tried swapping a fully charged battery from my sons phone and still nothing. It has for a while been a bit finnicky charging - I thought this was the charger but I now know the charger is fine! Up until this it had worked fine - well relative fine, still had some infuriating bugs and would usually only connect 4 out 5 times.

Is there anything I can try or is the phone terminal?! :frown: Dont see how jusy flatting the battery could cause this shutdown tho!!!

Also - how can I check how up to date my firmware is (on the working X that is!)

cheers!

Flattening the battery should not cause the phone to not recharge. If the battery is *very* flat, then it may be some time before the phone does visibly start to charge, but it should be able to do this.

One other solution would be to buy a Sendo Sync Station, which will allow you to charge the battery while out of the phone. As this method doesn't require the phone to boot up, the battery is sure to recharge properly. (Sendo Sync Stations are available from the Sendo Smartphones website)

You can check the firmware on a working phone by typing in *#0000#
