nice review.... but definitely you can remove that "nicely" from the sentence above.....
To be fair, syncing is very much hit and miss, mainly to do with the complexities of Windows and Outlook. For 99% of people, it works fine and it goes disastrously wrong for the other 1%.

does the phone have a memo application? i'm looking to switch from a treo.
i've come to terms with the fact that i will lose categories, which is a serious oversight on the part of nokia with the PIM apps.
Yes, there's a Notes application. Though, as you say, (like Tasks) it syncs all entries from all Outlook categories into one huge bucket.

Hmm, my observation is rather the other way around.

Admittedly, Nokia seem to have screwed up the latest (6.7), but for the last year or so at least, syncing had been absolutely rock solid, even over multiple devices.
