thank you N/A maybe I did not get your link, but I looking for some theme for my Sendo X2, the one which I have in is boring.

Thanks

Petr

There are NO themes readily available for the X2 as the X2 was never released.

Although the X2 uses the same version of Series 60 as the X, the theming engine changed again, and X themes are not compatible with the X2.

With an X2 in my hands I could easily create themes... 😡

Probably I can't help you, but you can do me a favor. Do you have the same themes of the X or different ones? If you have something new, send me the files.. (so I can make a new theme for the X.. and study a bit the X2 theme engine)

How can I create by my slef theme for X2? if it is same SW why I can not use themes for X ( I like surfer theme very much )

Sendo changed their theming engine numerous times during X and X2 development. This is why there are two different sets of themes for the Sendo X available at the moment.

If you use an incompatible theme on a Sendo phone, the phone will accept the theme, but will then crash when rebooted. The only solution at that stage is to reformat the phone by holding down the 5 key.

Experienced theme authors are able to spot the differences between theme versions by examining the files within a theme, but this is not easy to do and takes a large amount of knowledge.

The Surfer theme will NOT work on an X2, as it was written for a 78 release firmware, and the X2 uses a much newer release (with different theme engine)

Yes... creating themes is actually (and probably forever) impossible. But is always possible to modify an existing one. The theme stucture between X and X2 is different, but not so much (I think). If you search in this forum or in my site you can find some informations, you can start from here! As I said before, if you want more help I must see the themes files. They are probably located in z:/system/data and z:/system/data/theme. 😉

My e-mail address will be always open for large files like a copy of your z:/...
