Hopefully this works - New to the N70

I don't know what happened to my first post but I will try again.

I found this forum when I was searching around to find out more on the N70, seems like there are a lot of knowledgable peeps about.

I have a few questions

1) Can you change the colour of the signal and battery meter as well as the text, the standard grey looks a bit boring.
2) I have read a few posts lating the Orange firmware on these phones, what would I gain from changing to the generic firmware.
3) Are there any tutorials for beginners and info on what apps I should install, so far FExplore seems to be one of them.

Thanks

1) Through a theme that has edited/modified the indicator icons. See http://www.symbianthemes.com (and you can download the S60 Theme Studio to make your own themes from http://forum.nokia.com).

2) You would gain at least the removal of the Orange home screen & whatever fixes are in retail versions of the firmware, which have not been put in the Orange version.

3) Maybe this book would be good reading: http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0764579428.html
