If I close down the email program will it still auto-collect email from the server if it is set to do this?
I have mine configured for every half an hour but it seems a bit hit and miss.

Why on earth does it do that? It's obvious that sometimes it can't connect because there is no signal. It should just try again at the next polling time.
So now I'm going to have to mess about turning the auto-retrieval back on several times a day 😞
