GPS questions

Hello all!

Pretty new to the whole smartphone lark!

Was particularly interested in hearing that my Nokia 3230 is able to run GPS Software!

Got a few questions:

1. What specific software would you recommend? I would only ever use the GPS function in the UK.

2. What hardware do you recommend? Have heard people mention minimum 16 channel GPS receiver.

3. What is the minimum size of memory card is should go for bearing in mind GPS software sizes? My phone is a refurbished model so it did not come with a memory card!

And can you maybe recommend the general prices for these bits of equipment?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I use the route 66 software for my 3230, it works just fine.

I also have a nokia carkit (the bluetooth one) and if you connect it via the pop cable and fit a cradle it comes out of your cars speakers........

Always gets me where I need to go.

I paid 145 for it by finding it as cheap as you can and then getting carphone warehouse to match the price.

Good lUck
