Playing wave files on a nonia 9500

Does the 9500 have problems playing certain wave files?

Some Wave and mp3 files display 'Error Playback <filename> failed' in Music player, others play ok.

Is there some trick I should know about this.

i am trying to personalise ring and alert tones

It would depend on how they were compressed and with what codecs,

I use Ringtones set at either 64 or 96kbs in mp3 format,
