Has any one tried the 2GB+MMC card. I bought a Kingston 2GB MMC+ card and have had problems with it. I use the 9500 and it just wouldnt read it. I even had problems formatting it on the computer. Somehow I have now got it working.
Any experiences anybody.

Thanks. Actually my 9500 wouldnt recognise the card at all in the first instance and and wouldnt give me the option to format it.I couldnt even format it on my computer. I think that there seems to be something wrong with my card.I am planning to send it back and get it replaced.I could format it on my pcket pc handheld but that formats it to fat32 and 9500 cant read it.
The way I got it working is as follows.
On the back cover I have managed to cut out a small opening so that I can pull out the card without having to remove the whole cover. I know that theres a micro switch there and is decativated and activated when the cover is opened and closed. So first I had the 128mmc card which the 9500 recognised.I took it out and put the 2gb in. 9500 obviuosly thought its still the 128mb and the option to format was available then.It formatted proeprly and its working ok since then.
As far as your comment on formatting on the computer goes if you select FAT then I am sure it would.Thanks.

i bought 2GB MMC card for nokia 9500, before i used 128MMC and it was working but when u put 2GB then said that memory card is not ready when i put 1GB then its working, i change FAT32 to FAT buts till not working,
could you help me what i do ,so it will work in my phone,

On first times 9500 does not work with cards bigger then 1Gb. Now days, seems that it support already 2Gb cards. First, do a firmware upgrade to the phone, or assure you have already the last version. Second, format the memory card inside phone and should work.

Bad news... 9500 should be able to format the card. Outside, only FAT format (FAT16). Could you try another card brand? As fas as I read across forum not all Brands work well on Nokia phones.

yes, i changed to FAT, but still not working, i have Transcend MMC 2GB, i used 1GB from transcend and its working
Your problem is not with the MMc card but with the firmware. 5.22 does not support 2 GB. Upgrade to 6.27 you will not have any problem.
how can i upgrade 6,27. do you have any idea to do by online ?
You can�t, not until now... Go to a Nokia Service instead.
