I would not delete those.
And its like they dont take up space,
because, as you said those are empty folders.
But _if_ you do delete those, tell us how it went 😃
does your phone/mail work still 😃

I wouldn't suggest deleting c:\system\mail, as it's used for everything you send and receive over Bluetooth and IR as well as e-mail. The phone will not work if this folder is deleted.

DON'T DO IT MAN, STEP AWAY FROM THE DELETE KEY!!!

I had some probs with the BT on my phone and needed to take it to the service centre, so I thought I'd try some things out to see what happens. I deleted all of these files in an attempt to save a meagre amount of space and it totally screwed my phone - when I received a new message, it would sometimes be corrupt, in that only half the text would be displayed! Email was aslso screwed - it was impossible to download mail, and I got a "System Error" whenever I tried to.

So, to summarise...

I would only suggest this if your phone needs to go to the service centre anyway!

Spikey

Right...
DONT TOUCH THE DELETE-BUTTON 😉

but if somebody already do a shit like this,
they could also only make a backup to phone with a old Backup.
(a Backup with all the files)

I used to delete everything i see unneccesary! But i ended up with alotta busted software, half installed and half not! So don't mess around! (Unless you have a drawer with a couple dozen 7650's)

But nothing happens really, you can reinstall any software you have a problem with, and it will work, and you can't get a virus (so far) and theres no blue screen of death (sounds good, sounds symbian!)
