is there _any_ kind of syncable notes system?

Hi all.

Got a 9500 yesterday. To say I was surprised and disappointed that outlook notes don't sync would be an understatement. Anyway instead of whining on and on about the shockingly poor decision by Nokia I have been trying to find some kind of alternative solution. I need some kind of app which will let me edit and synchronise categorised notes on both pc and nokia. On a phone like this, you wouldn't have thought that would be such a problem, would you?

Anyway, I haven't find the solution yet and I'm just wondering what people have for ideas. Using tasks in the calendar, as some have suggested, is not an option - my calendar file is already big so it is slowing down the calendar applications I am trying out. I have come across a number of nice looking notes organising applications like Symbianware's Outliner, but none of them have any kind of syncability.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Cheers,

Ben

i asked about this when i first got my 9500, i could not understand why notes were greyed out on the outlook options, apparently they are not supposed to synch i have heard lotus notes may sych but have never tried them with notes on the nokia,

Ben,
I had the same problem and I am now using Projekt from www.kylom.com on my 9500 and TreePAd from www.treepad.com on my PC. One can transfer info in both directions using opml files, but for error free results I use ABC Amber Projekt Converter from ProcessText Group at http://www.processtext.com/abcprojekt.html The converter package is necessary as TreePad does have some errors in the opml conversion.

Projekt and TreePad are both much more than notetakers and I would thoroughly support both.

Hope this helps.
