mostly because of the TerraForce and the Oplayer

Try installing Doom on your 7650 !!! 😃

Even much better, try installing doom on a version 3.12 and then the phone getting stuck because you filled the memory and send it for repair!

(PS: That never happend to me)

gee, everbody seems violent today!!! i'm maintaining 1mb of free memory, im using 3.12 and yes, i dont want that "full-memory-phone-can't-work-at-all" shit to happen to me. 😃

My 7650 has v3.12 and what i want to know is if the memory gots full and phone shows "full-memory-phone-can't-work-at-all", the full rest code*#7370# won't resolve the problem.... i'm allways maintaining 1mb of free memory... it's more safe...

I've been living on the edge. Mostly Below 600, but frequently in 300 - 400 range. I'm on 3.12, and so far so good.

well i don't have that much apps on my phone but i have few wav and midi ringtones and a lot of pictures mostly of my friends! i always have between 1MB - 1.7MB i don't want to go under! i have V3.16 right now!
I think i am going to remove Oplayer and maybe even bounce...
ditch bounce! i did. well, i had a hard time deciding on it at first, but i think there are a lot of other great games out there that wont take as much space! right, TSU??? 😃 i love Racing Fever Deluxe (Java).

gee... that's scary, i wouldnt go there if i were you! 😃

i think, on v3.16, that "full-memory-phone-can't-work-at-all" shit, was fixed. im planning to upgrade soon!

well i'm only using apps that is useful ( to me )! i only have full version of Task Man, EProfiles, WordClock Pro, Efile Manager, Keylock, CameraFX, Webviewer, Games like Puzzle Bobble, MIDP-Man and HellBloodFighter! Plus of course Video app from T-Mobile! And at the moment i got 1.7MB of free space left!

I read some where in this forum that having more than 100 KB is good enough for rebooting. I would prefer to have 400 KB up. But for my own gut feeling, I will have 700 KB most of the time.

well good for you brah!

i got my 7650 since August and i was getting bored with it ( well just for a while ) and then tried to search the net for some good apps who would make my phone more easier and effective to use! and i find it real good having these apps right now! and i still have some memory left! 😃

ive got 3.12 and got:

vid player + english patch,
bounce,
forward,
some other game,
and s compress

scompress is ideal for compressing unused progams like bounce when not playing. it saves u about 600k

my phone has bout 1.4 mb free.

i also delete the mail folder through seleq to free up space and always delete read mail and txts!!! works for me

seems that although the memory is limited (3.6 MB) we can still make the most out of it. (video progs + imaging progs + cool games + nice ringtones...etc)

that's what i mean!! if you could quench your "thirst" of having a lot of apps in your phone, you could make the best phone in the whole wide world!

Well you can also quench your thirst for movies and mp3's when they release the HopBit (or was it released already?) but then you have to quench your thirst for money as it costs 400 dollars 😃

1459kb FREE! version 3.16

yeah i know, 400 dollars is alot, but it's 5 GB, and you can use it with any bluetooth device which is all future devices i guess!

What? 1-1.7 MB,do you actaully use your phone, give it some chance, and yes,the phone locking up due to memory fill has been fixed in v3.16.
I was always under 600 with 3.12

yes i use my phone a lot! i got 2 batteries ( 1000 maH ) as spares just in case, cuz i play the whole time and i love messaging! i make a lot of pictures and sounds, i can't have enough of them! i just delete my messages right away and as i said i only use apps which i think they are useful to me!

i've got 1.6 - 1.7MB left...
6 .wav ringtones each lasting 30 - 50secs
no midis... some high res pics... anda default games dats all... :P :P

ive got always around 2mb. free memory left on my 7650.
Have only:
-T-mobile
-Handy-file
-Cam-timer
-Key-lock
-Torch

-some Java-games(around 400kb.)

-some good midis and wav:180kb.

-My contacts are only 90kb.

And then 5 Fotos from good friends.

So,i always have enough place,to make nice videos and fotos in the nightlife of our small City :bday:
