Can I use a domestic 3.5mm headphone set?

Q. The stereo headset supplied with my Nokia smartphone isn't bad for listening to music on the go, but when I'm in a quiet environment (like my boat or caravan) I'd like to use my own set of professional headphones. Can the two be plugged together?

Or just get the Nokia ASD-46 which does have a microphone adapter built in so when a call comes in you hear it through your own earphones and use it's microphone. Once the call ends the Music returns so really a perfect solution IMO.

What country is that available in? I can't find it on the NokiaUSA.com site.

Oh, did you mean the AD-46?
