Overnight battery drain with a Bluetooth smartphone

Q. I'm mystified. I go to bed at night with my smartphone next to me, showing a full charge, and in the morning it's down to almost zero. I've rebooted and made sure that there no extra, running applications that might be hammering the processor, and yet every night the story's the same. Is my smartphone faulty?

Or it could also be the WIfi switched on, as with my N91 you can set it to search for wifi networks every 5 min, this would drain the battery a bit too, so if your not in an Wifi area its probably best to switch this off too.

My N80 Keeps losing contact and freezing/hanging when in use in car> I have Fast card, and Clobalsat Bt-318 receiver, normally working fine with Pda Hp-2210 Bluetooth....is there another unit I should use or firmware update required ?? Help ??? Thomas
