Hello
I wonder that is posible add a new T9.
I From Poland and it would be great to write on my phone with T9...
Anybody know how do it ??
PLIZ HELP !!
Add new T9
Hmm... I don't think that's possible. I suppose that the t9 dictionary file is loaded from z: so you need to patch the firmware and reflash it on the phone... quite impossible.
But you can try to force to load it from c: copying the t9 directory from z:\system to c:\system and changing the dictionary files... :hmmmm:
Yeah , but meaby someone know how do it or something....
Sorry, it just cant be done.
eh another, my stupid question :P
It`s posible to receive a access to ROM...
Start a phone in flash mode (* and power) and then some how connect to phone with posible to copy, delete etc. in ROM...
This phone is sooooooo great but i realy need a T9 😞
Or maybe some one know some people who can add T9 to file with firmwares...

😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮
Btw even the theme colors (it seems to be "curves"😉 are different (green instead of red)...
I'd be very suprised if you could still buy that phone.
?? Can't seem to find it. Search doesn't give any results either. Was it really there...? I find it hard to believe...🙄
Few days ago they have it in ofert.... yeah but not now. Probably
phone is out...
They must have been selling off old stock. There's no way they can get anything new.

Check this out: http://www.roverpc.ru/site/rpc/home.nsf/viewWebDescriptionsByCode/P015
It seems as if Rover bought(or something😉) projects dropped by companies and produce them. Don't you think this model is suspiciously similar to Motorola MPX100, which never entered the market?
I know thats a symbian forum, but I bet that most users are also generally INTO smartphones😉
so hope u forgive me😊

...but Motorola own all the rights to the Sendo X - meaning no one else can manufacture them without Motorola's say-so.
In Russia, Sendo collobrated with Rover and marketed the X as RoverPC Sendo X1. Yup, these little monsters are still being sold in Russia.. They are off-stocks ofcourse.. But there are no shortages.. They are sold with a price tag of 250 USD..
The phone has got the latest firmware in-built.. It has got one of the writing language as Russian.. But there is no support for Russian as Interface language.. The default theme is "Rover", a copycat of "Curves".. (Red has been changed to Green).. That's it.. Rest of the features remain the same..
This special firmware with Russian support is not available anywhere for download. If you lose it, there is only one way to retain the Russian language support.. That is, you need to walk down to the Service centre and re-flash your phone with this unique firmware for a descent fee.. Stupidity, right..
As there is no Russian interface in the phone, Sendo X is not a big hit in Russia.. For the past 8 months, Rover says that it's planning to work-on a new firmware, which supports Russian.. It says that, NOKIA holds the symbian copyrights and licence.. So they are in talk with Nokia and blah, blah... But nothing happens in reality.. It seems that they have lost interest in Sendo, as they released a new smart named RoverPC M1, which runs in lousy Microsoft Windows Mobile..
This is the sad story of Sendo in Russia..
Dude that sucks big time...I don't think it's very realistic to expect any s/w updates, so it looks like Rover is promising stuff they can't realize. Not sure about the licensing though. Ofcourse Nokia holds the s60 licence, but I don't think it's very likely Rover will invest in old-stock phones...:frown:
But ofcourse for you I hope I'll be proven wrong 😉
