Theme installation problem with n70

Just got my n70, used to have 6600 so figured it was a good upgrade.

With the 6600 i was always able to download themes off the internet onto my pc then bluetooth them across to the phone easy. Open the message and installer did the rest.

At the moment i am having trouble doing this with the n70. I find the themes i want, download them to the pc, bluetooth them across to the phone, open the message , installer starts up then up comes an error message saying "installation security error. inable to install".

If it helps i am in the uk and the handset is a vodafone one. I am able to recieve images, clips etc via bluetooth and they all work fine - except for the themes. Have vodafone installed some kind of software making it impossible to download themes? If so how do i get round it?

If its not that, what is the problem?!!

TIA

Try going to tools then manager then hit the options tab then go to settings then change software installation to On , online certif.check to Off

But they did. See, e.g., the online version of the manual here:

The section/chapter for "Application Manager" has a subsection called "Application settings", which has the following text: "Software installation - Select if Symbian software can be installed: On, Signed only, or Off."
