I was wondering if anyone could help with this.
Ive got a nokia 7610 and i cant receive mms on it. My settings are all correct and i'm sure I used to be able to receive them. Now when some trys to send one i get an error message saying 'Invalid multimedia access points. Check multimedia settings'
I can send mms but when I go to send one I get a message saying 'no valid access point defined. Define now?' When i click 'ok' it takes me to the message settings, the settings are set correctly and once ive clicked 'back' i can send the message.
doing this is slightly inconvenient but not being able to receive them is a total pain considering this is meant to be an imaging phone.
I hope someone knows why this wont work.
thanks
is it pay and go or contract? if its pay and go you should have a sim card symbol knockin about your fone some where, click on that & it'll send you all you need.
its a contract phone.
they used to work
the settings havent changed so i have no idea why they wont work now
Have you tried getting the setting sent to your phone from the O2 website?
I tried no end and they didn't work.
In the end I phoned them up moaning and the vital points were....
Remove battery.
Make sure SIM contacts are clean. (Give them a quick wipe)
Re-assemble
THIS IS THE MAIN BIT. (Which I didn't do)
Erase ALL of the acces points from your phone BEFORE you ask the O2 site to send the settings.
For some reason the phone looks at the settings that are already in the phone and thinks they are the same.
By deleting them all, the settings mailed get a fresh start.
I hope this works for you but if not, let me know and I'll listthe settings in my phone for you.
