I've just got a N70 and thought I would copy the contents of the 64mb mmc that comes with it to my 256mb card so that I've still got Quickword etc. but when I copy the contents to the new card not all of the apps appear when I boot the phone up?

I copied my 64MB card to my new 1GB card using a PC and a card reader and found no problems at all.

My laptop has a card reader, I just opened the card up and viewed all files then copied the contents to a temp folder on the laptop then copied the files from there to the new mmc card. Some apps appear but others don't. Could it be winxp setting file attributes?
Weird, what you've done should work perfectly :con?
I did the same but I used a DOS command prompt and used the command xcopy.
e.g. at the prompt:
C:\temp>
type xcopy *.* P: /E /H /K
This assumes you've backed up to C:\temp and that your card reader is drive P:
Once you have copied the files to the new card you can then open two command prompts and check the contents of each card using the command dir/w/s. The summary at the end of the manic scrolling should read the same for the number of directories (aka folders) and files but the free space will obviously be different.

Seems to have worked this time, I have:
Quickword
Quicksheet
Quickpoint
Adobe Reader
Info Print
Wireless Keyboard
Symantec Security
I think that's everything?
sounds about right yeah
