How do I find a file that's been Bluetoothed to me?

Okay this is starting to baffle me.

I needed to work on a Word document at home, so I Bluetoothed it to my N90 before leaving the office. I now want to take the file off my phone and Bluetooth it to my Mac.

The file appeared in my Messaging Inbox - so far so good. Left button brings up a menu with [Move to folder] - the only folder listed is 'My folders'.

However, if I go to the [Tools] option and choose 'File mgr'. I can't find 'My folders' anywhere.

Worse still, back in Messaging there is no option to Bluetooth the file off of my N90 and on to my home machine.

Anyone got a workaround?

Thanks,

Mike.

Although i dont have a N90, in the N70 and all the other symbian phones i have had "My Folders" is in the main messaging menu, underneath inbox.

Hope this helps

Ooops - sorry - perhaps I wasn't clear.

I can find the .DOC file in my messaging application - but I don't know how to send it on from there. I used to have a Sony-Ericsson P800 and Bluetooth messaging was an option from within the messaging application - I don't see anything like that here. I can send an SMS, MMS or email, but no Bluetooth option

The alternative would be to use File Mgr. to locate the file in memory and then Bluetooth it from there to my Mac. However, File Mgr. doesn't seem to know anything about any of the Message folders.

This is really confusing - I know I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Mike.

Right, Download FExplorer and install (just google for it). Then go on it and go in the appropriate drive (C for phone memory, E for memory card)

then you need to go C(or E)/System/Mail/

then go in and out all of these folders (theres tons of them) and you should find your files amongst them 😊

Get FExplorer for free at ***.gosymbian.com

Once you load it, go to inbox, select files to transfer, then select "Options", "Send", "Via Bluetooth".
