Corrupted MMC - format not helping

2 replies · 2,086 views · Started 09 February 2006

Out of the blue my 6670 started acting weird - the custom theme changed to a default one and i couldn't change it back so i restarted the phone

when it lodaded up the only thing i could do with it was answer calls or make new ones (not from contact list but by directly typing the number)

When i took out the 64 mb mmc card (which came with the phone) then everything was ok

I couldn't format the mmc from the phone so i got myself a mmc reader and checkout the drive.. i could see all the files and make a backup of most of the files but some files were corrupted and couldn't be copied or deleted

Then i formated it - standard format from windows (FAT). Everything cleared up nice and smooth.

Now put the card back to the phone and it loaded up but said my mmc was corrupted. Now i tried to format it in the phone but it just cancels the formating right after starting without any errors or anything.

But its all nice and clean and in FAT format

can someone please help me?

buy a new mmc because the present one is CORRUPTED (DESTROYED) (NOT WORKING) (USELESS) i cant find what u dont understand

u're probably right

but after some hacking i've managed to get the card formating on my phone working until it freezes on 99% ...
