Hi, i've been having many problems with my N90 and its mmc slot...every time i switch the phone off and then i switch it on with the mmc inside it it wont boot, i cant add a recipient to any sms using the left softkey ( the application will crash) and i am also unable to switch from camera mode to video mode...in the few occasions it worked i just couldnt record at all...i tried with many mmc but i still keep having the same troubles...any suggestions? thanx
btw my firmware version should be up to date, since it's v 3.0545.5.1...
I had this problem when I first started using a 1GB MMC card. After a couple of frustrating days and loss of hair I found a way around the problem. Try this.
With the phone switched off or before re-boot, remove the card, switch the phone back on and wait for the active display to appear.
Press the application button and go to folder "My own".
re-insert the card. You should hear a beep and then just wait thirty seconds
or so and any freshly installed applications should appear and all works okay.
You just have to remember to remove the card each time you re-boot.
