In tempted by a nokia N70
Im just asking, ive heard they are slow at times, and a few reviews have suggested they are unreliable. To what extent is this true (i.e. how slow can they be?)
And finally, can you perswade me to buy one? lol

Well in defense of the N70, I can say that is not as slow as people say, I have a unbranded with the last firmware phone and the phone it�s really fast, of course to open applications and send messages, etc, take a little bit seconds but I think is normal in comparission to other smartphones (Sony Ericcison, Samsung, etc), the 2 megapixels camera it�s really amazing (the best pictures I�ve ever captured) and if you install a 1GB RS MMC, you will be able to record more than 1 hour of video, also you will have a NOKIA device and I tell you that are very good devices, strong, light, good looking and the screem is very clear and big enough to have a fantastic view of all the installed applications, internet and other stuff. My recommendation is: GO FOR IT!!!

The thing that is really putting me off though is everyone saying they are slow....
Is it really that bad for everyone to be commenting on it?
I think you should go to store and try the phone, I do not think is as slow as people says, I have a friend of mine that has one W800i, that�s a really slow phone, go and try it for yourself and you will se that it�s a great phone is not as fast as the light 🙄 but it is not that slow
The N70 was / is my first smart phone - it seems very slow compared to my 6230 BUT does so much more (if only I coud get TomTom working).
I agree - you should go and try it - access messages or contacts and you will see the tardiness people mention compared to a 'normal' phone -if you can accept this then go for it.
If I was a business user wanting a phone that just phoned I would not go for an N70 - otherwise you need to way up features Vs speed Vs reliablity Vs etc
