Ok guys, I really need your help on this one. About a month ago I did a master reset due to some minor software bugs. At the moment I'm on X1.198.8.2, the newest one. One of the most irritatating bugs I had (a few months ago) was that while my X is swithed on with a fully charged battery and full signal strength, I can't receive calls/sms/voicmail alerts. And now this frikkin' bug is back...:frown: It sometimes helps when I switch the phone off and on, but what annoyes me the most is that I never know for sure when it happens. And I'm not running any program in the background.
I hope someone can help me out here cause this is a nasty deja-vu...:frown:
An old bug is back...
What network band settings are you using? Can you force the phone to the specific band your network uses? (e.g. 900/1800 or 1900)
One thing it might be worth trying is when you turn the phone on, once it's booted up, go into the main menu and then exit it again. Does this make the phone see the network?
I'm on the 900/1800 band with KPN as provider. The thing is that it always displays KPN and shows full signal strength. Only sometimes I just don't receive callls/sms...
In that case, the only thing I can recommend instantly is to reflash the phone with the latest firmware.
Hmm ok, guess this is my only option...:frown:
