I doubt this will have much application for the average user! However it is the first 3rd party hardware add on for the Nokia 7650 (aside from cases etc.). It doesn't have a direct connection to the 7650 but instead uses the IR port which the scanning attachement covers.
The BR 650 scanner is fully integrated to the Nokia 7650. This small and light (c. 50g) device is firmly connected to the Nokia 7650 using its cover and headphone plug.
The connection is easy and durable because the BR 650 scanner doesn�t need any mechanical connections for data transferring from the reader to the phone. The BR 650 uses the serial IRDA for the connections.
and this will set you back 525 Euros for a test model!
